Apple iPhone 6 coming on September 2014

News out of Germany indicates that German carrier Deutsche Telekom has been telling its support staff that the new Apple iPhone 6 will be released on September 19.

While the undoubtedly highly speculative date is to be taken with more than the usual grain of salt, it does coincide with past two iPhone launches, both of which happened during September. As before, it's expected that the iPhone 6 will be released on a Friday, following an announcement which will likely take place earlier a week or two earlier.
The iPhone 6 is strongly hinted at (and even pictured) sporting a larger, 4.7" screen, with rumors of an even bigger 5.5" model somewhere down the line.

LG G3 Leak Photos in Black and White

We recently saw the LG G3 appear online in leaked photos showing its redesigned back buttons.

But now LG’s upcoming flagship device has cropped up again, thanks to notorious leaker @evleaks.

Press renders of the smartphone in black and white were posted by @evleaks on Twitter.

The leak confirms the redesigned buttons on the back including the volume rocker and power button, and may also reportedly include a fingerprint scanner.

The front looks generally larger than its predecessor, the LG G2, whilst the display can also be clearly seen with very thing bezels surrounding it

There’s also no buttons on the front, which leads us to believe that we’re having on-screen navigation buttons once again.

From other leaks of the LG G3, it appears that LG has gone with a metal or aluminum back, which is also supposedly removable.

It is expected to make its first official public appearance later this month at some press events taking place in six cities across the world over two days.

LG recently sent out an invite to what's thought to be the G3 launch, a two-day event that begins on May 27.

iPhone 6 dummy Compared to iphone 5s,Samsung S5?

iPhone 6 dummy Compared to iphone 5s,Samsung S5?

We’ve seen a couple of alleged iPhone 6 dummies but this one is the most complete yet. Better still, the photos show it next to the current iPhone 5s and the Samsung Galaxy S5.

If this dummy is the real deal, the new iPhone 6 will bring more than just a new design - it’s clearly wider than the old model and thinner too. Put up against the Galaxy S5 it’s only a little shorter, pointing to a 4.7” display.

Alleged iPhone 6 dummy compared to Galaxy S5

Using the iPhone 5s and Galaxy S5 in the photos for reference, the iPhone 6 should measure 135.3 x 71.9 x 6.1mm. For comparison, the current iPhone 5s is 123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6mm and the Galaxy S5 is 142 x 72.5 x 8.1mm.

Anyway, the iPhone 6 dummy shows the screen (possibly behind a sapphire) and a 5s-like home button below. Strangely, a sole power button is located on the right, not top side as usual. The mute and volume keys are on the left. The back holds the camera, a round flash (not dual-tone?) and a mic between them.

Two more shots of the iPhone 6 dummy

The iPhone 6 could finally see Apple jumping aboard the large screen bandwagon with a new design language to boot. The dummy doesn’t answer other questions like screen resolution (640 x 1136 won’t cut it at this size) and what about the camera?

Another alleged Apple iPhone 6 dummy ?

Yet another alleged Apple iPhone 6 dummy unit made the rounds online. The mockup is of much higher quality than the one we saw earlier today, thus potentially giving us a better look of the upcoming smartphone

The latest dummy unit is tipped to be the creation of a case manufacturer and falls right in line with past leaks. It showcases the power/lock and volume buttons on the side of the handset, as well as its already leaked, slightly protruding camera unit with LED flash.

There is no word on the screen size of the handset in the photo. Judging by its proportions however, we reckon that we are looking at the rumored 4.7” iPhone. A number of reports suggest that Apple will launch a duo of large-screen iPhone devices – one with 4.7” screen and one with 5.5” unit.

We don’t know when the iPhone 6 will go official just yet. The usual September time frame is likely.
